The Prius is gassed up and loaded down. Next stop: St. Louis. What bet­ter way to start than trav­el­ing via the Gateway to the West? I still have a cou­ple of stops to make along the way, like the giant cross in Effingham, Illinois, Mrs. Curl, a great inde­pen­dent ice cream stand in Greenwood, Indiana, and Mario’s, a pizze­ria in Greenville, Illinois.

Isn’t this exciting?

    Have fun … you’ve not left the state and I’m already wish­ing I was on a road trip. (even after dri­ving to the Shenandoah and back from Indy last weekend)

    Yeah, I saw that. Forgot to a)change the set­ting on T-Mo, b)forgot to add a cron job to check for posts by e-mail (I’m already in The Haute), and c)I have a headache.

    I’m just ready to get to some­thing unfa­mil­iar. :)
